If you need help to obtain a duplicate title in Washington, this short guide will show you everything you need to know.
If your vehicle is currently titled in the state of Washington, the owner can follow one of these steps:
Go online and complete your Washington Affidavit of Loss form.
Choose one of the following options:
Bring your Washington Affidavit of Loss form to the Vehicle Licensing Office.
- Estimated time of delivery: 8-10 weeks
- Cost for duplicate: $35.50
Quick Titles available at select offices
- Estimated time of delivery: Same day
- Cost for duplicate: $85.50
If we purchase/pickup your vehicle, we will reimburse you for your $35-$85 duplicate title fee!
- Mail your Washington Affidavit of Loss form to the Vehicle Licensing Office:
