If you need help to obtain a duplicate title in Maine, this short guide will show you everything you need to know.

If your vehicle is currently titled in the state of Maine, the owner can follow one of these steps:

1. Go online and complete your Maine Duplicate Title Application.
2. Choose one of the following options:
  - Bring your Maine Duplicate Title Application to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
    - Estimated time of delivery: 6-8 weeks
    - Cost for duplicate: $33.00 + $10.00 for rushed delivery If we purchase/pickup your vehicle, we will reimburse you for your $33.00 + $10.00 duplicate title fee!
  - Mail your Maine Duplicate Title Application to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles:

Estimated time of delivery: 10 days
