If your vehicle is currently titled in the state of Michigan, the owner can follow one of these steps:
Go online and complete your Michigan Duplicate Title Application.
Choose one of the following options:
Bring your Michigan Duplicate Title Application to the Department of State.
- Estimated time of delivery: Same day – 4 weeks (same day at select locations)
- Cost for duplicate: $15.00 + $5.00 same-day fee If we purchase/pickup your vehicle, we will reimburse you for your $15.00 + $5.00 duplicate title fee!
Mail your Michigan Duplicate Title Application to the Department of State:

- Estimated time of delivery: 4 weeks
- Cost for duplicate: $15.00 If we purchase/pickup your vehicle, we will reimburse you for your $15.00 duplicate title fee!
