How to complete your Missouri Title.
A title is a legal document and must be filled out properly. You may void your title if it is filled out incorrectly

Before filling out your title please read through the following steps:
- The Owner(s) must SIGN on the back of the title where it reads “Signature(s) of All Seller(s).”
- The Owner(s) must PRINT THEIR FULL NAME on the back where it reads “Hand Printed Name(s) of Seller(s).” Please use your FULL name exactly as it appears on the title including any middle names, suffixes, or initials.
- DO NOT VOID YOUR TITLE – Owner(s) must use blue or black ink only. No strikeouts, write-overs, or white-out. The title must be free of rips or stains.
- If there is a LIEN listed on the title, the owner(s) will have to provide an ORIGINAL LIEN RELEASE. If you need assistance, click on our Lien Release help page.
Your title may vary from the image above. If your title is not the same as the image shown here, the owner(s) must still sign and print on the correct “seller(s)” lines.
Printed name(s) and signature(s) must exactly match the name(s) listed on the title.
If there are multiple owners listed on the title, ALL owners must sign and print.
